Job description

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a large, multi-site, well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Ilkley.

About the role:
* Main point of contact for your own portfolio of clients.
* Advise clients on areas of business improvement.
* Review accounts prepared by overseas team and discuss the accounts in detail with the client, recommend financial actions by analysing accounting reports.
* Assist with business development by meeting prospective clients, discussing their requirements, and creating proposals/engagement letters.
* Detect and prevent money laundering.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

About you:
* AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
* Previous experience working within Practice in a relevant role.
* Knowledge of personal and corporate tax would be useful.
* Confident liaising with clients and building long-term relationships to ensure the success of the firm.
