Role: Teacher of Textiles (Design Technology or Art Specialist)

Full time/Part time: Full Time (0.8 FTE will be considered)

Salary Grade: Teachers’ Pay Scale (Inner London)

Reporting to : Head of Cluster

Commencing: September 2024 or Sooner

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed, and inspiring Teacher of Textiles to work in the Visual Arts and Design and Technology Cluster.

For this post, we will consider applicants with an Art Textiles or DT Textiles specialism. The applicant would be required to teach some KS3 Design Technology, as well as GCSE and A Level Fashion and Textiles.

The successful candidate will:

·        have a good relevant first degree and be QTS qualified by the start date

·        have the subject knowledge to teach Design Technology and Art at KS3, Textiles GCSE and Fashion and Textiles A-Level

·        be able to motivate and inspire students to love Design Technology and Art

·        be committed to working successfully as a member of a team

·        have very strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
