Location: Southend
Salary: £110 - £230 per day
Start Date: Easter Start
Contract Type: Full Time

 

 
Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher seeking a new and rewarding role? Look no further! GSL Education is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented History Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Southend.

 
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to secondary school students
- Create dynamic lesson plans that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the History curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage students to explore and appreciate historical events and perspectives

 
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for History
- Experience teaching History at secondary school level
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students effectively
- Commitment to promoting historical understanding and appreciation
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection practices
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service
