Job description
Axcis Education are looking to appoint a teaching assistant, for a role in a SEND school, in the Kirkham, North Preston area.
The school, is smaller than average and caters specifically for students with additional needs including, autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties and MLD. The school are looking for a teaching assistant to join their growing team and work with all age groups. Many of the students in this school, display challenging behaviours, therefore, strong behaviour management skills are essential. The role is full time, to start as soon as possible, in the Kirkham area and the hours are 830am - 330pm Monday - Friday. The role will require you to work with students who require personal care sometimes, as well as providing additional support for children who display challenging behaviours. The candidate applying for this role must have SEND experience and childcare experience. You must be willing to provide personal care and work on a 1:1 and small group basis, with students who may be challenging. Pay for this role starts at £88 per day.Job tags
