Job description

Dangerous Goods Coordinator is required on a permanent basis for a provider to the offshore energy sector. The role is part-time with hybrid working being offered.

You will be required to provide the company with expertise in Dangerous Goods and will be responsible for ensuring compliance to all regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and overseeing of all regulatory requirements for Dangerous Goods by Air and communicating any change that may impact operations.
• Supporting with more complex Dangerous Goods issues or items presented for carriage.
• Completing the required paperwork and submission of any required Dangerous Goods’ approvals or exemptions.
• Completing the required manuals updates on Dangerous Goods in accordance with the regulatory framework.
• Supporting the appropriate reporting and investigation of Dangerous Goods non-compliances and proposing actions to prevent re-occurrence.
• Assisting in the close out in a timely manner of audit findings relating to Dangerous Goods.
• Assisting in reviews of the competency based internal training programmes with respect to Dangerous Goods to support continuous improvement of these programmes.

• Dangerous Goods by Air qualification.
• Background in all aspects of Dangerous Goods by Air.
• Document management.
• Proven people management and organisation skills.
• Proven document writing skills.
• Proven ability to work independently.
