Job description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDP or Sous Chef for a client of ours based in Hayle Cornwall.
Our client is a rehabilitation centre that requires a CDP or Sous chef on a temp basis. The start date for this position is Monday 22nd January and is for 1 week only to cover holidays .
The role is MondayFriday 09:0017:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan prepare and serve nutritious and appealing meals.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to all food safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory ordering and stock control.
- Collaborate with the catering service provider to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CDP or above.
- Culinary qualifications and relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Creativity in menu planning and meal preparation.
- A passion for delivering highquality meals.

Experience:
- CDP/Sous: 4 years (required)
A minimum of 2 years\' experience in a similar role in a quality fine dining establishment Knowledge of front of house, restaurant, bar, and cellar operations Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Knowledge of food and beverage trends, and the ability to make recommendations based on customer preferences
