Digital Content Manager

Location : Hybrid Working
Contract Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: £45k-£50k pa (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the ‘Head of Marketing’ and based at our Derbyshire offices, the Digital Content Manager is responsible for delivering compelling copy that drives customer engagement at each stage of the customer journey, including managing copy for the company website, product pages and creating effective communications across all our consumer touchpoints.

The Content Manager is a key role, working across multiple channels, and delivering engaging messages that drive actions among customers in both our direct and indirect segments. A significant part of the role will see you working with the E-commerce team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Content Management
• Work with the e-commerce team to ensure the company website it us to date with key messaging and aligned with the company brand and product campaigns
• Writing, adapting and cascading content across different customer communication channels, including website landing pages, e-newsletters, social media, and reporting on their success
• Work with the Head of Communications and our social media agencies to ensure a clear brand voice throughout messaging and video content with approval on all copy
• Working on Amazon A+ content and product descriptions, along with D2C website updates and enhancements
• Work with the E-commerce team to increase customer lifetime value generated from CRM activities including email strategy and implementation
• Create, publish and optimise creative digital content, including website SEO/SEM, email and display advertising campaigns
• Hub between all organic channels: Webshop, Social Media making sure all owned items align
• Work with the e-commerce team to understand the objectives etc.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Copywriting expertise, including excellent literacy, spelling and grammar
• Experience in writing or adapting content across different customer communication channels, including traditional and digital marketing
• Exceptional writing skills
• An ability to adapt writing to a specific ‘tone of voice’ for relevant audiences
• Ability to communicate on all levels of the organisation
• The ability to adapt to a range of writing styles and topics, as well as proofreading
• Is committed and able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
• The ability to work as part of a talented team or on your own initiative
• Experience: in the use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Canva
• Experience: in Digital platforms such as Dotdigital, Klaviyo or other
• Mobile and willing to travel within the UK and abroad

This role is a hybrid working role, with a minimum of 2 days per week working onsite at our Head Office in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
