Salary: £65,000 plus car allowance
Clearance: Eligible for SC
A primary technical partner of the MOD are looking to add to their Digital team to work on delivery opportunities taking place within the secure Defence and National Security sector. This role will involve providing technical leadership within a project, understanding the business and technical requirements and producing the technical impact solution. A great opportunity for a current Network Architect or a strong Network Engineer who is looking to be slightly less hands on.
Role:
The candidate will be responsible for the relevant design collateral, including passing any governance reviews and ensure effective technical delivery.
The role involves working on delivery opportunities and providing technical leadership to members of the team within a project.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding the business and technical requirements.
Experience:
Demonstrable design experience in proposing and utilizing technologies from global network vendors including Cisco and Juniper.
SRX - desirable
Strong technical networking knowledge (network certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA)
Solid understanding of project end to end life cycle
Able to support project management and any reporting to ensure timely project delivery that meets the customers' expectations.
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of customers business and technical requirements and issues and producing solid network solutions
