Job description
To act as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist in Cancer services, providing clinical support to the delivery of chemotherapy prescriptions after completion of competency based assessments. To support the pharmacy team in understanding the scope of technical and professional guidance on all matters relating to aseptic preparation of pharmaceutical products within the Trust, including appropriate outsourcing of aseptic products purchased from external providers as appropriate. To support the aseptic unit according to Improving Outcomes Guidance (IOG) document. Implement Trust policies in relation to the pharmaceutical care of haematology and oncology patients.
