Job description

A fantastic opportunity for a JavaScript Web Software Engineer to work for an industry-leading company innovating, developing and maintaining a range of complex software products.

Offering highly interesting work and flexible hybrid working, this role ideally suits an experienced Web Software Engineer with good knowledge of React and the ability to grasp complex systems and concepts.

Location: 2 days in office per week in Leicestershire (ideally you’ll drive but public transport options from Leicester, Rugby and Market Harborough)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + benefits

Requirements for Web Software Engineer:

• Experience in JavaScript and modern web frameworks, such as React, Redux
• Knowledge of automated testing tools e.g. QUnit for JavaScript, or similar.
• Previous experience in multi-tier web application development
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability

Responsibilities for Web Software Engineer :

• Design, develop, deploy and support web clients using JavaScript and modern frameworks
• Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure high quality software applications
• Contribute to software design to ensure good maintainable software architectures are developed
• Work within an Agile Environment ensuring productive CI processes and practices are followed
• Make clear and concise contributions to documentation
