Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Southwark
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP, March 2024
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Offer children in special education the assistance they need.
- Encourage a friendly and caring environment in the classroom.
- Promote the usage of customized lesson plans.
- Assist the teachers to establish a welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
- Give students specialized assistance when they need it.
- Keep an eye on developments, document them, and modify support plans as necessary.
Requirements as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. the ability to modify instruction to meet different needs and demands.
- A strong sense of empathy and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
- Preferential training or certifications in special education.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- A track record of successfully meeting the special education requirements of young children.
