Job description

As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be based at our client's operation near Maidstone and have responsibility for the following:

• You'll be responsible for the effective leadership of the warehouse function, managing a complex operation and a headcount of c70 FTE, ensuring that all aspects of the operation run effectively and efficiently.
• Oversee a fast paced inbound and despatch operation across 2 key locations.
• Use your commercial awareness to use both data and management information to manage budgets strategically.
• Driving departmental performance to exceed KPIs.
• Champion safety of the team and wider business and ensure adherence to legislation and compliance to company policy.
• Your leadership style will set an engaging and exemplary culture within the team.
• Coordinate logistics, including dispatch and delivery activities.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Regularly liaise with other departments to guarantee smooth operations.
