Regulations Reporting Data Engineer

Job description
What you will be responsible for:
- Ownership of technical deliverables from development until deployment, post production support and BAU activities
Key requirements include:
- Analyze, design and develop to meet the requirements per the functional specifications for various regulatory reporting initiatives.
- Ability to analyze and breakdown the business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience in Regulatory Reporting products like Axiom Controller View
- Knowledge of Axiom Controller View objects like Data Source, Data model, Portfolio, Aggregation, Shorthand, Freeform, Tabular Reports etc.
- High level of proficiency in PL/SQL and data modelling
- Good understanding of key banking products - bonds, loans, deposits, repos, derivatives
- Experience in regulatory reporting requirements for APAC/EMEA regulators will be a plus
- Experience with AUTOSYS, UNIX and ETL tools (IBM Datastage, Streamset etc) will be a plus

- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation.
- Methodical approach to work, and capable of meeting high standards.
- Adapt and excel at managing multiple simultaneous tasks in a high pressure, deadline based environment.
- Strong finance technology insight with demonstrated capability to work across business lines
- Self-motivated, work with minimal oversight and driven in getting things completed
Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related field
- 4 years of experience in software design and development
- Financial Services Industry experience, with background in Regulatory Reporting preferred
