This role is based in the UK and will be working on site in our UK based College.
In order to comply with our mandatory pre-employment checks, the successful candidate will be required to provide original identification documents in person to our UK based HR Team.
BACKGROUND TO THE POST
The Engineering Academy provides training and assessment for apprenticeships, work place assessments, full and part time engineering courses from Levels 1 to 3 and Higher Education at the college’s Trident, Leamington Spa, Evesham and Rugby Centres. The post holder will join the existing Engineering Team and be responsible to the Workshop Team Leader and Head of Department (Engineering Workshop and laboratories).
PLACE OF WORK
The principal place of work will be at Evesham College.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who can deliver a broad range of engineering subjects which could include:
Essential Attainments:
● A degree in a relevant area.
● Teacher Training Qualification or the willingness to undertake the courses required to gain this
● GCSE Grade A-C/1-5 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English (or willingness to achieve the necessary qualifications within 12 months)
● Strong Administrative skills, including IT skills
● A willingness to undertake continuing professional development.
