We are an inclusive school located in the heart of East/ Central London. We are searching for an English Teacher & 2ic for a permanent role for September. This is a full time, and permanent post.
The Head Teacher has created a brilliant ethos throughout for both staff & pupils – Teachers can teach, and pupils learn in multiple ways. The work life balance for teachers is fantastic, and as Teachers you’re given the freedom to personalise your lessons to achieve great results.
The current 2ic of English has just received a promotion and will be taking on more leadership opportunities.
So, they are now keen to find a new English 2ic that will help lead the English Department to further greatness.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• English Teacher + 2ic (TLR)
• Working within a team of 12 in the English Department
• Setting the standards and leading from the front
• Driving standards across the Department
• Reduced teaching Timetable – KS3,4 & 5
• Inner London
• MPS – UPS3 + TLR2c (£7,800)
• Located in the Borough of Hackney
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Must have UK QTS
• You must be a natural leader and look to coach & develop others
• Must be able to lead from the front & drive the standards
• Strong subject knowledge is essential
• Previous responsibility within an English Department is desirable, but not essential
