Job description
- Support budget holders in financial planning and budget modelling
- Work with budget holders to ensure accurate and timely budget monitoring
- Advise budget managers on financial analysis on revenue and capital
- Support the production with the medium term financial plan
- Provide financial advice and guidance to business units.
- Maintain financial models and forecasts.
- Analyse financial performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to drive business strategy.
- Deliver regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Support the delivery of the council's financial strategy.
