Job description

Our client, an acquisitive PE backed group, are looking to appoint a Commercial Development Manager with a Pricing focus into their team.

The Commercial Development Manager will assist the Group Commercial Director in the development and management of commercial activities, ensuring that the business maximises all opportunities for sales and margin growth.

They will support in the planning and implementation of commercial strategies, manage day-to-day activities within an internal commercial department with primary responsibility for the Commercial Analytics and Pricing Administration teams, and will ensure resource is effectively managed within these teams.

You will also own all pricing projects and ad-hoc margin enhancement initiatives, acting as the business project lead.

Summary of Role Responsibilities:

The role would suit a qualified or QBE accountant, or a Sales Manager, who is data orientated, has a history of working in a pricing or costing environment, and who genuinely understands what underpins profitability within a business and has a strong desire to work collaboratively with other departments to improve margins.
