Job description

Due to retirement, CLARE is looking for its next dynamic and enthusiastic Operations Manager. Flexible working.

Operations Manager Band 7 (AfC) (£41,659 p.a. pro-rata)

22.5 – 30 hours, negotiable and to be agreed.

 

CLARE, which stands for Creative Local Action Responses and Engagement, is a community led voluntary organisation working within North Belfast that enables vulnerable adults and older people to maintain their independence, and reduce social isolation and loneliness.

Due to retirement, we are currently seeking our next dynamic and enthusiastic Operations Manager who wants to take their career to the next level and make a real difference on the ground.

Open to flexible working arrangements, and supported by funding from the Public Health Agency, we’re focusing on getting the best person for the job. We’re about working as a team, securing the best people, and making an impact in the community.

 

The Operations Manager will be responsible for strategic, operational and staff management of the CLARE project. In the initial period, he/she will be required to work closely with the Development Manager (Chief Officer) to further develop our culture of compassionate care, innovation, and excellence.  

Who we are looking for:

Are you passionate about helping people in the community?

Do you have a 3rd level qualification or relevant professional qualification in social work, nursing, an allied health professional, or community development?

Do you have a minimum of three years full-time (five years’ part-time) management experience?

Do you show leadership and take responsibility for decision making?
