Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Production Technician to work day shifts in Beccles

For the successful Production Technician, our client is offering:

1. £33,572 per annum
2. 3 shifts on a rotating basis - 6 am-2 pm/10 am-6 pm/2 pm-10 pm
3. Permanent position
4. 28 days of holiday including bank holidays rising to 33 
   
5. Company Pension

The role - Production Technician:

1. Provide technical support to the Shift Supervisor to ensure planned / unplanned work is carried out effectively.
2. Ensure a QC check is completed on the machines
3. Tool changing and loading
4. Reporting faults to the supervisor
5. All check/log sheets and pallet labels should be filled out clearly and correctly with all relevant information.
6. Ensure the machines are running correctly and safely at all times 

What our client is looking for in a Production Technician:

1. Previous Technical Experience, eg. Machine Maintenance /Motor Mechanic or similar (ESSENTIAL)
2. Clear and proven competence in working in an engineering or manufacturing environment (ESSENTIAL)
3. Blow moulding technical experience, setting machines and tooling (DESIRABLE)
4. NVQ Level 2 in Engineering (ESSENTIAL)
