Bookkeeper - Practice Experience

Job description

We have a new opportunity registered with us for a Practice Bookkeeper to join a well-established firm of Accountants based in Shipley.

This 2-partner firm was established over 20 years ago, now offering their clients a range of services from accounts, bookkeeping and payroll to a range of tax advice offerings.

Responsibilities:

• General bookkeeping.
• VAT returns.
• Process sales and purchase invoices for a variety of clients.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile purchase and sales ledgers for several clients.
• Journals

About the candidate:

• Previous bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Organised and methodical
• Client focused.
• Ability to work under own initiative.

• Salary from £24,000p/a to £28,000p/a FTE.
