About the Role
Hill Ward is a 32-bed surgical/ medical ward. Surgical specialties include plastics, urology, max/fax, gynaecology, orthopaedics and general surgery. Our medical specialties include renal, cardiac, respiratory, geriatrics, endocrine and oncology.
- We have an excellent retention rate with our staff and we are looking for registered nurses to fit in with our ethos of excellent care for every patient.
- Recent previous experience within either a surgical or acute medical ward is essential, and perioperative and/or day surgery experience is desirable.
- As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the unit.
- You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination and evaluation of patients.

You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a surgical ward
- Experience as an In-Charge or willingness to learn
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
This position requires someone with flexibility and the ability work in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]

Requirements
Everyone who joins Ramsay:
