Job description

Our client is a major company that works in the UK sector across the Water sector and they are looking for a MEICA Engineering Manager for their Midlands operations You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor based in Birmingham working on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. As MEICA Engineering Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to, planning and coordinating projects, supervising a team of engineers, proposing and managing budgets as well as ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. In order to be successful, you will have an understanding of engineering principles and working knowledge of NEC4 form of contract principles. In addition, you will have experience in a similar role working on major projects or in the water sector. Finally, you will have experience with MEICA and be a customer-focused individual. Role Requirements

• Degree/HNC level qualification in a relevant engineering subject
• Understanding of engineering principles
• Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
• A working knowledge of the principles of the NEC4 forms of contract through experience and formal training
• Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything they do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
• Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
• Must be customer focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
