Job description
Nanny/Housekeeper for 2 boys (ages 3 and age 4)
Start Date: ASAP
Early in the New Year ideal; can be flexible for ideal candidate.
Salary: Dependent on live in vs live out
Job:
7:15am until boys are asleep each evening, usually by 7:15-7:30pm.
One night sleepover (ideally Fridays); can depart Saturday morning by 10am. Obviously if live in this will change!
Babysitting 1-2 nights per week(days), typically until 9:30-10pm.
Travel with family (2-4 full weeks per year).
Proxy parenting once per quarter up to 5 days (long weekend or annual trip), etc. when parents are gone.
Role:
Mornings: getting boys downstairs, serving breakfast, final homework as needed, managing toilet and getting dressed and ready for school and drop off, exit house by 8:05am sharply.
Evenings: School pick up, play dates, shuttling to appointments or sports, classes, play dates, and clubs.
During day: The boys are at school; housekeeping includes: all dishes, all beds, all laundry, tidying throughout home (front entrance/main rooms/powder room/coat closets) daily vacuuming, mopping (when necessary). Family has a housekeeper as well.
All meal prep and tidy up for kids. We keep a super tidy house so important to have dishes and toys cleaned BEFORE taking boys out to events, upstairs to playroom or bed time/bath time.
Occasion prep cooking (eg chopping vegetables etc) during off time.
Dinner, bath time and bed time. Parents kiss goodnight as boys are heading up!
Temperament: warm natured, great energy, upbeat, engaging, kind, good sense of humor, fun, loving, positive outlook, smart, proactive, clean, organized, and punctual. The boys have tight schedules, drop-offs, pick-ups, so need an ambitious nanny who can get the boys confidently to and from school as needed, with or without the help of the parents.
