Job description

Executive Assistant – Private Office. Full time / Permanent:  £45,000 - £50,000

Executive Assistant – Private Fund Office.  Full time / Permanent:  £30,000 - £35,000

An opportunity has arisen to join one of two divisions within our company as an Executive Assistant.  We are accepting applications for a position either within the Private Office or for a newly formed role within the Private Fund Office.  Both positions are based in our beautiful Grade II Listed Building in Central London which is located close to major main line rail stations, numerous tube and bus stations as well as the amenities of the West End.

Both roles will provide support to the senior member(s) of the relevant divisions.  Candidates must be degree educated, flexible and a team player.  You will be bright, enthusiastic and keen to develop the role by demonstrating excellent organisational and communication skills, discretion and business acumen.  The role requires complete discretion, commitment and diplomacy.  Proficient IT skills are a requisite.

Both roles will comprise a similar range of core tasks however their focus will differ; a more senior role will be supporting 2 Directors / Principals within their Private Office and the other role will be supporting a small team of experts in the Private Fund Office.  Tasks will include; extensive diary management, assisting with asset management including complex insurance renewal and valuations, addressing general correspondence as well as organising meetings & events, appointments & travel.  Additional core tasks will include maintaining HR and financial records and dealing with time sensitive documents containing highly confidential information.  Both roles require a flexible approach due to the dynamic nature of the businesses.   

Applicants interested in the Private Office role must be able to demonstrate an understanding of building management including liaising / managing domestic staff (office and home).
