Position: Warehouse and Dispatch Coordinator

Location: Holbeach

Mon-Fri – flexible hours can start as early as 6am – 9am. 40 hours per week.

We're on the lookout for a Warehouse and Dispatch Coordinator to work in conjunction with our manufacturing department, playing a pivotal role in managing, organising, and optimising our operations. If you're passionate about logistics, safety, and achieving excellence, this might be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse and Dispatch Coordinator , you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for:

• Being the first point of contact within the dispatch department.
• Managing a small team in the dispatch areas.
• Conducting daily tray stock checks and managing the hire and de-hire of trays.
• Collaborating with haulers to arrange special collections or delays as required by production.
• Investigating and providing evidence for any incorrect deliveries.
• Holding weekly meetings with planning to confirm any uplift in forecast requiring extra trays.
• Coordinating peak volumes to the freezer and ensuring the return of products to the site as per planning requirements.
• Managing the despatch team to ensure consistency in ways of working.
• Overseeing the Box Pad area and supporting the team with any queries.
• Managing all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) on-site and addressing any queries or breakdowns.
• Checking and signing invoices for equipment weekly, promptly highlighting any discrepancies.
• Ensuring the working area adheres to required GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards, always audit-ready.
• Taking charge of Health & Safety within the department and cooperating with the rest of the factory.

The right candidate:-

We are looking for a very well organised individual who is able to deal with an ever changing environment.

A background in planning, supply chain, warehouse/despatch management is ideal but we are open to any operational or supply chain leadership within FMCG, 3PL, manufacturing or fresh produce arenas.
