Job description
TUTOR/ASSESSOR – Customer Service Practitioner / Business Administrator
We are looking to recruit a skilled tutor in our Business, Management and Education & Training centre and are seeking inspiring and enthusiastic individuals with relevant vocational experience and qualifications.
Rated as Good by Ofsted for the delivery of government funded training programmes, Hull Training and Adult Education, part of Hull City Council, is one of the largest providers of vocational training and further education in the region with an excellent reputation for delivering quality courses to industry.
Teacher training and/or assessing qualifications would be advantageous as would previous experience of apprenticeship standards delivery, but above all we are looking for individuals who can make a significant contribution to the development and skills of the next generation of administrators, customer service advisers and/or team leaders. We have an excellent record of teacher training delivery and therefore encourage anyone who feels they have skills and the ability to pass on their knowledge to learners to apply.
The ideal candidate will be organised and able to work both as part of a team and individually. You will be expected to deliver both practical and theory based sessions to students as well as carry out work-based visits to employers, so good communication skills and an ability to motivate others is essential. You will also be expected to effectively monitor and track the progress of your learners from beginning to end of their programmes and adapt to learner needs to ensure they all progress and ultimately achieve their qualifications successfully.
For further information please contact Tony Vidal on 01482 614157.
Please ensure that you complete and submit your application by midnight on the closing date.
We are committed to increasing the diversity, equity, and inclusion within our workforce to represent the people we serve and build an environment in which everyone can feel like they belong. We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
We reserve the right to amend the dates associated with this advert, which may include closing the advert early where required.
The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
Any offer of employment to the above post will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory Enhanced & Childrens Barring List Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
