Agility are working on a great opportunity for an experienced individual to work in a busy legal environment for Maternity Cover of 12-15 months, with the potential to go permanent at the end of the contract. You will be working in Preston and reporting to the Finance Manager with the main purpose of the role to preform key operational processes including managing month end accounting.
Your role:
- Ledger reconciliation of client matters
- Processing and approving outgoing payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Ledger reconciliation
- Managing Credit Control
- Inputting invoices
- Posting bills and transferring costs
- General bookkeeping
- Banking and petty cash
- Other ad hoc duties such as staff expenses and payroll assistance
Person specification:
- Experience within a similar role and with financial processing
- Strong team player
- Strong Excel knowledge
- High attention to detail
- GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths
- Experience within the legal sector (preferred)
