Teacher of Business & Economics

Salary: £30,000 - £41,333 per year

Contract type:  Full time / Temporary Role - possibly become Permanent for the right candidate

Start date: January 2024 or as soon as possible

The school is seeking an inspiring and intellectual Business & Economics teacher from January 2024. The pupils are hardworking, caring, inquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment, as a result we are seeking a teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

• Friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs)
• Graded GOOD by OFSTED

About you:

• Enthusiastic teacher who is confident and passionate about their work
• Will Hold QTS or equivalent
• The position will be teaching Business Studies across KS4 and KS5
• Along with Economics at A Level (KS5)
• There will also be an aspect of Young Enterprise delivery

Suitable Applicants Must Have:

• QTS (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Business & Economics
• The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.

All candidates will be required to have an enhanced DBS which is on the update service. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
