Job description

An Abingdon family is hiring a Live-in Housekeeper to assist them in managing their property to a high standard of cleanliness. They seek a candidate who is organised, hardworking, and takes the initiative with all general housekeeping duties. The live-in housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. A driver with a full driving license is an absolute requirement.

Working hours: 5 days per week from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm then 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week (flexibility for weekends)

Accommodation: Private Room, shared bathroom with other housekeeper

Duties include:

take care of the household
mopping the floor
dusting
cooking for the family
freshening the rooms
doing the laundry and ironing of the family
dusting
hoovering the carpets and floors
ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
polishing floor
making sure the toilet and bathroom are clean
doing the grocery shopping and errands
organising cupboards and changing bedsheets
