Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Senior Finance Officer include, but may not be limited to:

• Providing reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and other transnational processes in the month end process.
• Working with system updates i.e. outstanding implementations, training and ongoing support.
• Providing the contingent account i.e. banking and cash handling.
• Completing monthly transfer process ensuring these are completed and logged.
• Processing journals and Quarterly review and Generation of Yearly documentation.
• Maintain and build rapport with budget holders and other employees providing financial advice and support where necessary.
• Experience of preparation of accounts receivable invoices and recording income and aged debt.

The Successful Applicant

The successful a Senior Finance Officer should possess:

• Not For Profit and Charities background/ experience.
• AAT Qualification or Degree equivalent
• Experience maintaining reconciliations and variance analysis
• Exceptional IT skills
• The ability to form and maintain positive relationships with a wide spectrum of people.
• Proven experience within Finance.
• Ability to commute to Salford.

• Excellent hourly rate between £15.00 - £17.00.
• 12-month temporary contract with possibility of extension.
