About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Redditch. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers and students to facilitate academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality classroom support to teachers and students, assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment across a range of subjects and year groups.
Lead small group interventions and workshops to support students' academic progress and attainment, providing targeted support and guidance in areas of need.
Manage and supervise classroom activities and behavior, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and engaged.
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support students with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs, adapting teaching strategies and resources to meet their individual requirements.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum, contributing to the overall development and well-being of students.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent recognized qualification.
Proven experience working as a HLTA or teaching assistant in a school setting, with a comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching and learning strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced school environment.
Commitment to promoting inclusive education and supporting the diverse needs of students, including those with SEN or additional learning needs.
