Job description
Our client are a market leading, expanding manufacturing business currently looking to recruit additional Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Fitters to join their team.
Overall Purpose:
- Reporting to Maintenance Leader and Improvement Engineer the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for set up of clean room equipment to meet production schedule.
- Carrying out of planned and reactive maintenance on equipment and facilities within the Clean Rooms.
Key Duties:
- Set up of equipment to meet production schedule.
- Input to and implementation of the Preventative Maintenance Plan to ensure the safe running of equipment on site.
- Carrying out of mechanical repair of equipment and facilities within the clean rooms.
- Liaising with outside contractors for installation, repair and modification of equipment.
- Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
- Clear and concise reporting of all maintenance work carried, faults found, modifications, etc. within the Maintenance Management System.
- Ensure all work is carried out to an agreed upon specification to ensure the high quality of products required for the medical industry.
- Promote and practice safe working practices.
- To work with minimal supervision to achieve tasks at a high standard.
