Your Purpose

We’re now looking to recruit a Word Class Supply Chain to join our brilliant Operations Team.

The WCSC 2.0 Specialist is responsible for the deployment, reapplication, development and sustainability of 2.0 at Burton Brewery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports execution of WCSC 2.0 implementation and transfers ownership of these activities to the team(s) through capability building and coaching
• On the floor coaching: Acts as the daily coach to Line Leads, Operational Line Structures, Pillar Leads, Site Leadership and teams/individuals in their small group activities and ensures linkage of the effort with loss elimination and business results
• Develops the skill to align brewery leadership to deliver the CBN through loss elimination and 2.0 capability. Leading for AM activities across site and coaching those leading the activity
• Delivers training and coaching on Problem Solving tools and techniques to the teams across the sites and is regarded as a subject matter expert in this field. Leads and delivers specific problem solving projects to eliminate chronic losses
• Ensure mechanisms are in place and successful to drive reapplication and one common standard for the site. Lead line structures and operational teams in developing a standards driven culture that recognises and rewards standards adherance.

About You

• Very strong Supply Chain/operational background, ideally in leadership roles.
• Experience in lean manufacturing deployment - strong knowledge of the Run-To-Target elements of WCSC2.0 or similar processes.
• Understanding of the Supply Chain and planning processes that directly impact the brewery operation.
• Ability to coach others
• Ability to build, lead and manage a project team (e.g., talent and performance management, feedback and coaching)
• Strong communicator that can set clear expectations whilst being open, honest and persistent
• Knowledge of health & safety, environmental regulations and practices
• Effective interpersonal, influencing and relationship building skills
• Ability to work with and dissemenate data
