We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant/Receptionist to join our team here at MiNight Vets Wokingham!

This is a part time role working 14 hours per week, 7 on Saturday & 7 on Sunday. Potential to be flexible for the right candidate.

Main duties would include:

• Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests
• Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries
• Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable
• Cleaning duties are involved
• Animal handling
• Assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment
• Cleaning, walking and feeding patients

We are looking for someone who really cares about animals. Our ideal candidate will have had some experience with animals before, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
