Service Manager – Highways
Operations – Engineering & Streetscene
Bury Council has an exciting position for a suitably qualified and experienced Highways professional to manage our Highways Service.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Engineering & Streetscene in providing strategic leadership on Highways Service matters.
As a Service Manager - Highways, within our Engineering & Streetscene team you will:
You must be self-motivated and able to work independently and with initiative, prioritising workloads, managing delegated budgets and meeting deadlines.
What makes you our ideal Service Manager – Highways?
Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week, with attendance at evening meetings in accordance with the needs of the service.
The salary for this post will be £51,515 to £52,563 per annum.
