Caring, an occupation that means so much more than you think it does.
We help Mrs J to get washed and dressed in the morning, we help her put on her best clothes and jewellery, we put rollers in her hair, we make her smell nice with her best perfume all so she can go out for her mothers day lunch with her children and family. We help Mr B, he is blind. So every week we walk with him to the local butcher, the newspaper shop and in between we stop at the local café and have coffee and cake with him, all small tasks that he couldn't do without us. In November, we know that Mrs P's handwriting isn't as good as it used to be, so we help her write all of her Christmas cards, and wrap presents for her family. Every month, we sit and look at all of Mrs D's Photographs from when she was younger, we smile, talk and laugh with her about her wonderful memories, she will insist you make yourself a cup of tea and have a few biscuits with her too. On Armistice day, we take Mr F, an ex British veteran to the rememberance parade in the market square, we help him get dressed into his uniform, pin all of his medals on, all so he can pay his respects to all the fallen soldiers he once used to serve with. We make it possible for each and every one of these people to not just live the rest of their days in their own home, but for them to enjoy every wonderful moment that life still has to offer. You wont believe just how much a career in Care has to offer, so if you think that this could be the job for you.. please read the details below. -We are looking for Carers in Fleetwood, Thornton Cleveleys and Poulton le Fylde, Knott End, Preesall, Hambleton, Pilling, Garstang, Great eccleston, Elswick, Inskip, Kirkham Wesham, Warton, Freckleton and St Annes -We consider all candidates whether you Drive, Walk or Cycle. -The Job entails travelling from home to home, and providing help and support to our clients. -We have flexible working times/shifts so we try out best to fit in and around you and your life. Alternate weekends are a must. - Youll get all the standard company benefits ( pension, 5.6 weeks leave a year)- We pay for all of your training, partner you up with our already experienced Carers for the first few weeks so you can get to know the clients and the staff. We will support you to gain an NVQ in Adult social care.. which will increase your rate of pay. - We offer a 24hr service by which if you need money before pay day, you can immediatley withdraw some of the wages you've earned Our Rates of pay are: Carers - £11.25 Monday to Friday and £11.50 Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays. We pay 19p per mile for Drivers, and assistance to claim the other 26p per mile back from HMRC. Carers with an NVQ will receive 25p per hour more. We pay 25p per hour extra if you pick up a shift because of sickness. We have frequent opportunities' for you to move up the ladder, become a supervisor and higher, and we will support you to gain high levels of NVQ's too .
