Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Content Support the Group Finance function and ensure high performance levels.
- Support the Group month-end process and timetable.
- Support the Group Management Reporting requirements (including weekly flash, monthly management accounts and KPI reporting etc…).
- Support the Group budgeting and forecasting process.
- Strong user of CargoWise (ERP system).
- Support the FP&A function on models.
- Support the operating divisions with operational finance support.
- Support Group expenses and company credit card processing.
- Ad-hoc reporting requirements depending on wider Group business needs.
- Ad-hoc support across the finance function.
- Providing purchase ledger – supporting the Finance Manager with standard administration tasks, including posting invoices to the system, matching invoices to accruals, dealing with queries, and assisting supplier statements to Accounts Payable Ledger.
- Various project work
The training you will be getting
- AAT qualification at Level 3
The successful candidate will undertake a full review of their existing skills versus what is required in their new role. First Intuition will then advise on the best apprenticeship programme for them. This will be a structured AAT Apprenticeship programme at Level 3.
A blend of classroom and online training will support the candidate to achieve a well-recognised accountancy qualification which will both help with their new role and potentially lead on to further study.
