Special needs teaching assistant
Are you looking for a great opportunity to work in a special needs school in Radstock? Have you a background in supporting special needs in care, but wish to apply it in a different setting? This will be your window to get a foot in the door. Axcis Education are looking for a special needs professional that can work full time and long term supporting as a teaching assistant and working in all of the classes on a sort of rotating basis. Working hours are 8:30-3:30 and Monday to Friday, term time only starting as soon as possible. The school caters to children with autism or complex needs with the odd children that requires more physical support. The school are looking for someone with great special needs experience that is not afraid to get stuck in and help where needed. They have a lovely team in place and will often move people around in order to give staff and children the best possible experience. Resilience, empathy and good communication skills are a must along with being reliable and consistent. A enhanced DBS on the update service is required for school work.
