Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit sessional night shift mobile attendants.

Working throughout West Dunbartonshire, the mobile attendant provides emergency care at home assistance to citizens within their own homes, as well as responding to routine calls and assisting with the installation of community alarm systems.

The mobile attendants are required to work both individually and as part of a team.

You will require some technical knowledge and must also be comfortable with
providing practical/personal care.

Applicants should have an SVQ Level 2 in Social Care or an equivalent qualification at SCQF level 5 or above.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
