Job description
Our client, a manufacturer of luxury high performance sports car is looking for an EE EDS Lead DVP Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will support the EDS team through testing, re-work, and up-date activities for harnesses in development, pre-production, and production environments.
The EE EDS Lead DVP Engineer will:
Maintain a stock of material, ordered via the organisation’s systems, to support rework requirements.
Support all required pre-production build phases to help identify build issues and react to issues found.
Review of Design Verification Plans (DVP) and sign off reports for components owners.
Work closely with EDS engineers to meet programmes needs through prototype build phases.
Rework donor harnesses to mod sheet or drawing instructions.
The EE EDS Lead DVP Engineer will have:
Experience of working in a cross functional team to tackle complex issue resolution.
Knowledge of harness component definition and where to source parts from.
Strong experience and knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components.
Good IT skills with the ability to process data.
Knowledge and experience of NX and Team Centre.
An understanding and experience of 3D and 2D (drafting) CAD.
