Job description
Ensure the financial reporting activities operate within an effective control environment and manage risk-related processes relevant to the team.
Deliver on-time activities concerning the month-end closing process and reporting to group Deliver the half-year and full-year group reporting packs, ensuring accuracy of output and adherence to review processes. Deliver the annual financial statements and ensure an effective and issue-free external audit. Prepare and review quarterly and annual VAT. returns and oversee the review on a periodic basis. Prepare and review the Corporation Tax requirements. Manage a horizon scanning and implementation process for developments in relevant developments affecting for both tax and accounting issues. Assume responsibility for managing the financial software including general ledger, financial statement production, FlexCube and other key systems. Enhance and automate key manual processes as agreed with the Financial Controller. Enhance review processes by delivering additional analysis to support management review of key outputs. Collaborate with the Management Accountant to deliver management reporting as necessary. Assist the Regulatory Accountant with inputs and support on regulatory reporting.Job tags
