Job description
We are a family owned SME based in Hucknall. We sell machine embroidery threads & many different accessories all across the UK & Ireland to trade resellers & also direct to the embroidery customer. The position available is working in our sales & warehouse.
Day to day duties include.
Liaises with customer for sales & compiling of orders. Help control warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of products from suppliers through warehousing to shipping out to the customer.
Duties:
· Answering the telephone, take orders & enquiries from customer.
· Help develop new sales through online website (currently in working progress) & through our CRM software.
· Prepares orders by processing customer orders from email or telephone; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
· Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases, (using Profit+ software – training given).
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities when required.
· Operation of basic textile machinery for small run production, in house training given.
· Operation of forklift truck and warehouse machinery, training given.
· Learning product details & in turn help with customer care/support.
· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Liaise with suppliers for product supply & planning.
Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 -
Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.
Definite opportunity for a permanent role within the company following successful completion of the apprenticeship.
