Position: Principal Protein Scientist
Our client is looking for a protein scientist with a background in Immunology, Protein Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. You will play a pivotal role in establishing in-house capabilities for TCR library building and advancing our preclinical pipeline of bispecific T cell engagers. You will be instrumental in designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments while ensuring scientific excellence within our Protein Biochemistry function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing in-house TCR library building capabilities for engineering TCR-directed, bispecific T-cell engagers.
- Setting up in-vitro display platforms (mammalian and yeast) for identification.
- Conducting selections of the best binders using in-vitro display platforms.
- Designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments to advance our preclinical pipeline.
- Actively participating in cross-functional team meetings, discussing data, seeking advice, and providing expertise to drive future strategies.
- Maintaining scientific excellence within the Protein Biochemistry function.
- Contributing to a vibrant and innovative working environment where improvements and new ideas are adopted and shared among teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or equivalent scientific experience in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques.
- Technical expertise in in-vitro display, preferably including mammalian or yeast display or phage display.
- Experience with antibody or TCR library building is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Experience in bioorthogonal chemistry, bioconjugation, lipid nanoparticle formulation, cell and immunological assays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA), NGS analysis pipeline, and SOP documentation is preferred.
