What you will do in your working day
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Maintain Item Master Database
- Maintain Price Lists
- Maintain Sales Department information
- Provide a link between IT and Sales
- Enter, organise and manipulate data
- Communicate with co-workers over the phone or through email
- Identify and correct errors in data to ensure the data is accurate
- Troubleshoot computer systems when they experience issues
The training you will be getting
Velocity apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to expand future career prospects.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their programme.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 4 Data Analyst, with training in how to:
- Identify data sources to meet the organisation’s requirement, using evidence-based decision making to establish rationale
- Liaise with the client and colleagues from other areas of the organisation to establish reporting needs
- Collect, compile and cleanse data, such as sales figures, Digital Twins etc.
- Produce performance dashboards and reports in the Visualisation and Model Building Phase
- Support the organisation by maintaining and developing reports for analysis to aid with decisions
