Customs Agents – Night Shift 
Remote working (occasional office attendance required - Paddock Wood)

Part of leading Fresh Produce business Fresca Group Ltd, we’re a successful & rapidly expanding customs agency. We provide a range of import & export services to group companies and our third-party clients.

To support our growth, we’re now recruiting for new team members for our night shift. 
We’re seeking Polish speakers with a background in customs, logistics or supply chain, ideally in an FMCG environment. In-house training will be provided, along with support to gain professional qualifications.

During a typical shift, you will submit customs declarations and associated pre-notifications for our clients. You will also proactively secure the timely release of goods when there are customs holds on consignments. This will involve frequent interaction with third parties such as HMRC, APHA, port authorities, inland border facilities, and hauliers .

Our perfect Customs Agent would have:

• Fluent in Polish and English – multilingual.
• Experience with customs systems (e.g. CDS, CNS, Destin 8, Sequoia) desirable.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Understanding of customs procedure codes and specialist customs procedures, including SCDP (CFSP) and Transit.
• Understanding of controlled goods & goods subject to sanitary and phytosanitary controls.
• Institute of Export or UK Customs Academy - level 3 certificate desirable.
• High levels of attention to detail & proficient with MS Excel.
• Proactive, a self-starter.
• Ability to prioritise and multitask.

The hours you would work:

• 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern
• Typical shift would be 17.45 - 06.10 (with a 1 hour unpaid break)
