About this role
My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager to join a well-known South African Restaurant in the heart of the city. As a Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. You will assist in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining exceptional standards of service.
About You
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Possess a good understanding of South African culture and cuisine.
- Energetic and charismatic.
- Ability to lead and drive a FOH team of 20.
- Previous experience overseeing events.
- Someone who thrives in fast paced, high pressure environments
