Job description
We are working with a brand who lead their industry and make a difference to people’s lives, who are looking for a Social Media Manager to join their growing team.
Our Client
A global brand with a several hundred million turnover, culture and values is hugely important to them and many of their team have been with them for years. They have been in the Sunday Times Top 100 companies to work for on multiple occasions. They have a fairly flat, non-hierarchical structure so everyone is encouraged to make informed decisions, has an opportunity to make a difference and contribute directly to the success of the brand. They’ve won and been shortlisted for multiple marketing awards in the last 12 months.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the overall Social Media and Content strategy. You’ll be creating engaging content, planning, and executing social media campaigns, and analysing performance metrics to optimise strategies. This is a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the brand positioning to their audiences on social channels. This role will allow you the opportunity to put your mark on the business and work closely with their brilliant Brand Director to execute a compelling social media and content strategy. The role is purely focused on their organic social.
You
You’ll have a solid experience working in a similar Social Media role, where you have built and managed social media and content strategy, and worked across a range of different channels. You’ll be an energetic, lover of social, brand storyteller who is keen to join a brand that will encourage you to experiment and explore with new approaches and channels that will connect with their audiences. Ideally you’ll be able to demonstrate where you’ve told brand stories, sometimes complex, through social media. Due to location of their Head Office you would need a driving licence and access to transport.
