The role: As we move from a single to a multi-site operation, we are now seeking to add an experienced Lead IT Support Engineer to work seamlessly with IT peers, and provide guidance to empower our small IT Support Team to address technical issues and work alongside colleagues on projects.

This is an exciting environment for someone with a desire to provide system stewardship in maintaining hardware, servers, networks, and IT systems—and to be ‘hands on’ in tackling technical issues—whilst minimising downtime through proactive IT management and maintenance.

The role requires a positive 'hands on' approach to ensure that the IT Support Team members deliver a quality service and exceed user satisfaction when responding to a wide range of internal software and hardware queries.

The ideal candidate: As a successful candidate, you will be eager to transition into a lead position as part of our growing SME and to exhibit the foundations of strong leadership and people management skills. You will foster an outlook of growth and development for the IT Support Team members, and guide them to be proactive in providing solutions.

Required Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to foster growth in people management and leadership, demonstrating a commitment to developing and honing these essential capabilities.
• Microsoft dynamics GP, Cisco Routers and Firewall awareness (Firepower, standard switches - networking, ipv4, ipv6, vlans), MS Server Suite (especially exchange and server), Microsoft 365, good Security and AV understanding.

Hours required: Typically, Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility to provide out of hours and weekend hours as required.
