Job description

Are you an IT teacher who is looking for a new challenge and would like the opportunity to work with children who have previously struggled in mainstream schools?

We have a vacancy available in a PRU school in the Liverpool area. The school pride themselves on creating a comfortable and friendly environment that feels like a family. It is very important for the staff to get to know the children and be able to support them in anyway they need. Their school ethos is: Young people can only learn when their basic needs are being met and understood. The menta l health and emotional well-being of both staff and students is the most important thing for the leadership team and they work hard each day to make sure the whole school community feels supported.
- Hours/Days: Monday-Friday, 8.00am-3.00pm (Term-Time only)
- Start date- As soon as possible.
- Specialist provision- Liverpool
- Competitive rate £11.85-£12.87 per hour.

The ideal IT teacher would be somebody who can work well under pressure and can build trustworthy relationships with students so that they feel comfortable and safe in their environment and willing to learn. It is important that you are a very caring and understanding individual and can positively set great examples for students.

Staff support each other throughout the day, the leadership team describe the staff and students as a family who trust and support each other. This is a very rewarding working environment, and the right candidate would need to be able to fit in with the staff and have the same drive and aspirations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
