Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant (Senior)

Location: On-site, 5 days a week
Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum

Are you a skilled Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our clients team in a senior accounts capacity. This role offers the opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic finance department.

About You:
You should have a comprehensive understanding of Sage and be adept at navigating its functionalities. If you possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Generate hire invoices and contract rental invoices, setting up Direct Debit collections.
• Input export sales invoices onto Sage.
• Process customer card payments.
• Handle credit account applications, setting credit limits in accordance with Experian.
• Pursue outstanding debts, documenting chase notes and setting daily tasks.
• Assist in resolving client queries.
• Maintain Sales Ledger records.
• Issue customer statements.
• Arrange bank payments and allocate them within Sage.
• Record bank receipts in Sage and mark invoices as paid on our system.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Extract data from SAP Concur and input it into Sage.
• Include expenses in weekly payments.
• Export credit card data from SAP Concur and input it into Sage.
• Reconcile the Accounts.
• Collect spreadsheets and slips from all sites for petty cash.
• Enter all receipts at month-end and reconcile with cash amounts across all sites.
• Provide ad hoc cover for other finance tasks as necessary.
